Un niño de apenas 12 años ha sido acusado de encabezar una banda que perpetró robos en casas habitadas, sobre todo en el sector de Villa Verde, situado en la parte alta de la ciudad.
El nombre del menor, que se omite por razones legales, fue identificado por al menos dos mujeres: Margarita Villafaña y Teresa Amelia de Jesús Mercedes.
El alegado delincuente está acusado de haber penetrado, el 11 de febrero, a la residencia de la señora Villlafaña, de donde sustrajo 36 mil pesos y dos laptops. Luego, tres días después ingresó al domicilio de Mercedes, quien sufrió el robo de una computadora portátil.
Sin embargo, la Policía informó que recuperó una laptop de Margarita Villafaña en la casa de un tal "Robert", de la calle Manuel de Jesús Galván, en Villa Verde.
Otros miembros de la supuesta banda que son perseguidos son unos tales “Vitico”, “Boca Negra”, “Alex”, “Andy” y “Luis”.
