El extranjero Adriano Príncipe, de 60 años, murió al recibir herida de arma de fuego en el hipocondrio izquierdo con entrada y salida, y herida contusa en la región occipital del cráneo, según el médico de servicio del Centro Médico Libertad de Higüey.
De acuerdo a la nota policial dos individuos en una motocicleta marca Suzuki AX-100, color negro se desmontaron en la residencia del italiano donde procedieron a despojarlos de sus pertenencia armado de pistola, momentos que se encontraba frente de su residencia junto a su esposa Fredesvinda Castillo de los Santos, de 18 años de edad.
Los delincuentes despojaron a la dama de su cartera conteniendo en su interior todos sus documentos personales, un celular Alcatel, y luego le arrebataron su cadena de Goldfil, color amarilillo.
Príncipe recibió el disparo de uno de los delincuentes al tratar de impedir el despojo.
En el lugar del hecho se encontró dos casquillo calibre 9mm.
Con relación al caso se encuentran dos personas detenidas para fines de investigación.
