SANTO DOMINGO.- El Instituto Nacional de Protección de los Derechos del Consumidor (Pro Consumidor) decomisó 6,816 productos vencidos que eran vendidos en establecimientos comerciales de Constanza e Higüey.
La institución informó que fueron detectados productos enlatados oxidados, golpeados y en mal estado para la venta, así como otros comestibles vencidos en violación a la Ley 358-05, en perjuicio de la salud de la población.
Dio que los productos vencidos y en mal estado fueron decomisados durante operativos de inspección realizados en 55 establecimientos comerciales, entre ellos supermercados grandes y pequeños, así como en colmados de Higüey y Constanza.
Especificó que en los operativos se incautaron refrescos, bebidas energizantes, galletas, agua tónica, agua de coco, agua saborizada, Ice Tea, vinos, cervezas, mantequilla, salsa bechamel, jugos, margarina, jugos, coctel de tomate, cocktail frutal, yogurts, leche condensada y evaporada, y vinagre.
También aceites, sardinas, sazón en polvo, extracto de malta, chocolate en polvo, salami , quesos , papitas, pastas de tomate, salsa inglesa, flan de leche, habichuelas, habichuelas con dulce, vegetales mixtos, jugos instantáneos en sobres, caldo de pollo, avena molida, alcaparrados, cereal integral, pan, pastas integrales, palitos chinos, coctail de tomates, sazón líquido, spaguettis, y salsas de toda variedad.
Además decomisaron crema humectante para bebes, jabón liquido, comida para gatos, desinfectantes, entre otros.
