LA EMPRESA TURÍSTICA PRETENDE OFRECER UNA EXPERIENCIA INCOMPARABLE EN LA ZONA ESTE
Con un tradicional y simbólico picazo quedaron formalmente iniciados los trabajos de construcción del proyecto turístico Downtown Punta Cana, un atractivo complejo que pretende ofrecer a sus visitantes una experiencia insuperable.
La actividad fue encabezada por el presidente Danilo Medina y los empresarios del proyecto Luis R. Francis Moreno y Miguel J. Ricart, quienes destacaron las bondades de la nueva iniciativa, concebida con la intención de aportar aún más al destino turístico ya popular en la media isla.
Según una nota de prensa, al dar los detalles de la obra, sus promotores explicaron que el principal enfoque e ideología en el desarrollo de Downtown Punta Cana es la creación de un complejo cultural y de ocio que busca atraer y acomodar al tráfico de turistas que visitan la región, así como los ciudadanos de República Dominicana.
“A través del diseño y programación estratégica, se crearán múltiples actividades favorables para familias y adultos, proporcionando una experiencia que será de interés para todo público”, dijo Luis Francis Moreno. A seguidas, Miguel Ricart expuso que, debido al crecimiento urbano y turístico del sector Punta Cana y de sus poblaciones Verón y Bávaro, que son centros urbano-rurales, se hace necesario la creación de desarrollos tipo Downtown Punta Cana, que será un proyecto de libre acceso para todo el público.
CARACTERÍSTICAS:
La obra es construida en la intersección Boulevard Turístico del Este (BTE) y la carretera Verón – Bávaro, comúnmente conocida como El Cruce de Coco Loco. Esta ofrece una ubicación única y conveniente para los hoteles de los alrededores, así como los residentes de la región y visitantes de las ciudades del país.
