El ministerio público pedirá prisión preventiva para las 35 personas que están detenidas tras una frustrada operación de narcotráficos en la que fueron ocupados 682 paquetes de cocaína que serían enviados a Francia, a través del aeropuerto de Punta Cana, mientras ya fue identificada una parte del grupo, entre ellos un teniente coronel, un mayor y cuatro capitanes.
La Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) informó en un comunicado que el ministerio público someterá al grupo de detenidos en la jurisdicción de Higüey. y adelantó que pedirá como coerción prisión preventiva.
El procurador adjunto, Carlos Castillo Díaz, dijo que el grupo está directamente ligado al citado caso. Alegadamente lo encabeza el teniente coronel José Brazobán Adames, asignado al Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Aeroportuaria (CESA), oficial con una responsabilidad puntual en la mencionada terminal, donde fue interceptado el avión cargado con el citado estupefaciente, que había pasado por el área VIP.
“Se está procediendo a someter a la justicia a unas 35 personas para que les sean conocidas medidas de coerción en la jurisdicción de Higüey.”, dijo Díaz.
Aplazan audiencia
El corresponsal Juan Rodríguez informó anoche que fue aplazada para el miércoles 27, a las 9;00 de la mañana, la audiencia donde se conocería un pedido de la Fiscalía, consistente en prisión preventiva contra los imputados.
La decisión la motivó que uno de los oficiales imputados, Rafael de la Rosa Tapia, habría intentado suicidarse estando bajo arresto, al ingerir una sobredosis de pastillas prescritas para su enfermedad de diabetes.
Otra razón es que los ciudadanos franceses involucrados requieren de la asistencia de intérpretes en el tribunal que conoce el caso.
También se estableció anoche que son 38, y no 35 como se dijo en principio, el número de detenidos en la operación, y ahora procesados ante la justicia. Esta suma la hacen los tres miembros de la tripulación y un cuarto pasajero del moderno avión Falcón 50, matrícula F-GXMC, modelo 1989.
Los extranjeros, todos de nacionalidad francesa, fueron identificados como Pascal Jean Furet, Bruno Armand Víctor Ados, Alain Marc Paul Marie Castañy y Nicolás Cristopher Pisapia.
Además de Brazobán Adames, serán remitidos a la justicia los capitanes Bolívar Alberto Mercado Díaz, Santana Núñez, José Manuel Celedonio Castro, Wáscar Francisco Zapata Ramírez y Rafael Aníbal de la Rosa Tapia, así como los tenientes Joan Antonio Daniel Rosario, Andrés Avelino Méndez García, Arencio Guevara Guevara, Miguel Damián Florimón, Kissoris Ciprián y Carlos H. Martínez.
