EL JUEZ ACOGIÓ LA PETICIÓN DE APLAZAMIENTO HECHA POR EL MINISTERIO PÚBLICO Y LOS ABOGADOS DE LA DEFENSA

El Juzgado de Instrucción de la provincia La Altagracia, aplazó para el miércoles 3 de abril del a las 9:00 mañana, el conocimiento de la medida de coerción a 41 imputados, entre ellos 4 franceses y 37 dominicanos que son acusados por la fiscalía del intento de traficar con 168 paquetes cocaína, con un peso de 700 kilogramos.
El juez de la instrucción Edwin Rijo Rijo acogió la petición de aplazamiento hecha por el procurador fiscal Carlos Castillo y los fiscales adjunto Jorge Rondón, Mercedes Santana, Milciades Guzmán y Nelson Beltré Tejada.
También los abogados de la defensa de los imputados habían solicitado el aplazamiento para otro día porque la fiscalía no les había entregado el expediente acusatorio.
El juez Rijo Rijo dispuso la entrega de una copia del expediente a los abogados de la defensa para que lo estudien y no aleguen ignorancia.
El magistrado dijo que el día de la audiencia también tienen que estar presentes los testigos encubiertos por las autoridades en la operación que dio con el decomiso de la droga.
Además, el juez dijo que no acepta presión no chantaje de algunos sectores, ya que él está para administrar justicia de una forma diáfana.
El juez cuestionó el hecho de que los imputados están siendo condenados ante la opinión pública, sin que todavía hayan sido procesados en la justicia.
El grupo alegadamente lo encabeza el teniente coronel José Brazobán Adames, asignado al Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Aeroportuaria (CESA), oficial con una responsabilidad puntual en el aeropuerto Punta Cana, donde fue interceptado el avión cargado con el citado estupefaciente, que había pasado por el área VIP.
Los extranjeros, todos de nacionalidad francesa, fueron identificados como Pascal Jean Furet, Bruno Armand Víctor Ados, Alain Marc Paul Marie Castañoy y Nicolás Cristopher Pisapia.
Además de Brazobán Adames, serán remitidos a la justicia los capitanes Bolívar Alberto Mercado Díaz, Santana Núñez, José Manuel Celedonio Castro, Wáscar Francisco Zapata Ramírez y Rafael Aníbal de la Rosa Tapia, así como los tenientes Joan Antonio Daniel Rosario, Andrés Avelino Méndez García, Arencio Guevara Guevara, Miguel Damián Florimón, Kissoris Ciprián y Carlos H. Martínez.
