El organismo identificó a los detenidos como José Francisco Zacarías Peña, de 33 años; Jairon Alberto Rodríguez Santos, de 23; y Euclides Francisco Borges Abreu, de 24, quienes, según la agencia, iban con la droga a bordo del carro Toyota Camry, negro, placa A568230.
Los detenidos residen en diferentes sectores de Fantino, provincia Sánchez Ramírez.
De acuerdo con las autoridades, durante una requisa al vehículo miembros de la inspectoría regional Este de la DNCD ocuparon los cuatro paquetes, equivalentes a poco más de cuatro kilogramos, guardados en un bulto de mano azul, el cual estaba dentro de un saco en el asiento trasero del automóvil.
El operativo fue practicado alrededor de la 1:00 de la tarde en la calle Cayacoa, del sector Savica, de esta ciudad.
Según la DNCD a los detenidos se les ocupó, además del vehículo y el estupefaciente, celulares y RD$ 10,000 en efectivo. La DNCD profundiza en el caso para apresar a otros implicados.
