Según el reporte oficial la víctima fue identificada como Yessenia Altagracia Rivera Figueroa, de 31 años. La Policía dijo sobre el caso que la víctima es una mujer que presentaba un impacto de bala en la cabeza y quemaduras en distintas partes de su cuerpo.
El referido vehículo placa A329293, color azul, dentro del cual se encontraban dos personas conversando con los asientos delanteros reclinados para atrás, figura a nombre de la señora Yessenia Altagracia Rivera Figueroa, de 31 años. La institución del orden explicó que dentro del auto se encontraron algunos documentos personales también a nombre de Yessenia Altagracia Figueroa, ced 001-1543707, residente en la calle Rosas Rojas, sector El Rosal, Santo Domingo Este.
No obstante, las autoridades dijeron que preferían esperar por los resultados de la investigación para establecer la identidad de la mujer asesinada.
El informe preliminar del caso refiere que alrededor de las 7:15 de la noche se escuchó al menos un disparo y se observó a un hombre salir del vehículo, el cual de inmediato se incendió. El carro se encontraba estacionado frente a un centro de estudios cerrado.
La Policía dijo que dentro del carro, quemado entre 60 a 70%, se encontró un galón con residuos de gasolina y una libreta con apuntes referentes a préstamos personales.
El cadáver fue enviado al Instituto Nacional de Patología Forense para los fines correspondientes, mientras que el vehículo se encuentra en la Policía Científica, para ser sometido a una inspección más profunda.
La Policía dijo anoche que investigan todas las aristas del caso y profundizan las acciones para dar con el hombre que se supone estaba con ella y que habría hecho el disparo. Los reportes dados por los curiosos del lugar refieren que el hombre en el vehículo conversaba con la dama.
